EDR Contracting have done an outstanding job delivering the new carpark at 309 High Street. Their team not only created 57 free parking spaces, but also installed new drainage, kerbing, lighting, and bike parking to a very high standard, well saving some of the historic structure. The result is a safer, more accessible facility that’s already making a real difference for local businesses and visitors to the Town Hall and Rangiora town centre. EDR Contracting was the civil‐earthworks lead for the Ngā Puna Wai Sports Hub in Wigram, Christchurch, building the IAAF-certified athletics track, two FIH-approved hockey pitches and 12 tennis courts. They led all the civil work required for the athletics track, hockey pitches and tennis courts. Their team managed everything from drainage and pavements through to irrigation and electrical services with real attention to detail, which made it easy for us to deliver the turf systems to international standards.
