Woodlands Estate Subdivision Development Project

EDR was engaged to deliver a full-scale subdivision development, encompassing site preparation, installation of services, roadworks, and completion of all public and private accessways. The project provided a fully functional and safe residential environment, ready for occupancy, building and ongoing use.

Scope of works

The project involved a comprehensive range of civil construction tasks, including:

Earthworks - Trim and shape berms, footpaths and reserve areas, and spread screened topsoil
Services - Trench and backfill for common service corridors in road reserves and rights of way
Water Reticulation - Install new mains, laterals, valves, hydrants and connections, including testing and commissioning
Roading - Prepare subgrade, lay sub-base and basecourse, construct kerb and channel, and complete asphalt surfacing
Stormwater Drainage - Install new pipework and adjust existing manholes
Footpaths & Streetscapes - Build footpaths, crossings, tactile paving, road markings, signage and edge treatments
Right of Way (ROW) - Construct accessways with sub-base, basecourse, kerbing and asphalt surfacing
Practical Completion - Final inspections, testing and handover of completed works

Project Outcome

EDR successfully delivered a high-quality, fully serviced subdivision. Through precise execution and coordinated project management, the development achieved all design and safety standards, providing residents with reliable infrastructure, accessible roadways and a fully completed streetscape.
